Things are different on my phone with Android Nougat. Drilling down into its file structure you should come to a folder called rndiis – that’s where your photos are stored.
I appreciate that taking the SIM card out may be more work than you wish to do. All above did connect phone as USB storage. As in my phone is connected to the wifi and the laptop is connected to the phone via usb cable. Anrdoid are a bunch of driver sites, but they contain just download links and negligible information about the software.

I am not quite clear whether you are having a wifi problem or not but if you are I suggest you start a topic in the ‘Networking’ section about it.

The first of these is because I’ve got nothing plugged into the EtherNet port. Several functions may not work.
But in Windows XP, it contains the drivers you need on USB tethering, but you must install a configuration file before connecting your phone to your Windows XP computer, to rmdis Windows XP how to configure itself to use those drivers. This worked for me. Any insight into my problem would be appreciated.
